Following on the success of the two guided tours of the Maritime Mile in Belfast in the Autumn, we have organised two further guided tours. Please book with Christina so that we know who will turn up on the day and who wants to stay for lunch. There is no fee for these events. 31st January at 11.00 am - Guided Tour of the new Ulster University Campus on York Street. Meet in the Main Foyer of UU at 11.30 am sharp. Professor Alastair Adair, Club member, will greet you on arrival at the University. After the guided tour we will re[1]turn to the Club for a convivial lunch in the Dining Room. 6th February at 11 am - Guided Tour of Belfast’s Entries. These are a series of narrow alleyways in the vicinity of the Club which date back to the 17th century and are the oldest parts of the city centre. They still retain buildings dating back to the pre-Victorian and Victorian periods and have gone through extensive environ[1]mental refurbishment in recent years. Sabine Kalke who has worked for Belfast City Council for many years as a Project Sponsor, will talk us through the significance of the Belfast entries in the past and today. Meet at the Club at 11 am and stay for lunch afterwards if you wish
