On Wednesday 23rd September, Alex was honoured to be invited to attend the official launch of, writer and broadcaster, Stephen Walker's latest book, Ireland’s Call: Irish Sporting Heroes who fell in the Great War. This event was held at Kingspan Stadium.

Merrion Press, the book’s publisher’s hosted this prestigious event which was opened by Mark Carruthers and featured a most entertaining address by Ireland and Lions’ legend, Willie John McBride. The Club are delighted that Mr Walker will be delivering our inaugural Jack Kyle Memorial Lecture, on Tuesday 24th November.
